John Drewrey

President
Sergeant John Drewrey has proudly served with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office since 2005. He has been a patrol deputy, explorer advisor, communications operator, major crimes detective, patrol sergeant, and SWAT team member. He has completed trainings in Special Weapons and Tactics, Interview and Interrogation, Advanced Interview and Interrogation, Wiretap, Officer Involved Shooting, Homicide and Advanced Homicide. He holds a certificate of completion from the Robert Presley Institute of Criminal Investigations (ICI) with a specialty in Homicide. Sergeant Drewrey is currently assigned as a patrol/enforcement supervisor. He has served on the DSA board of directors since 2011. Sergeant Drewrey was elected President of the DSA in November 2013.

Gary Frace

Vice President
Sergeant Gary Frace has served the Lake County Sheriff’s Office since 2006. He has been a Field Training Officer, a member of the Lake County Gang Task Force, a K9 Handler, and a member of the SWAT Team. Sergeant Frace is a former Lake County DSA President and has been on the PORAC (Peace Officers Research Association of California) Board of Directors representing the Redwood Chapter since 2008. In 2017, the PORAC President appointed Sergeant Frace to the Insurance and Benefits Trust. In 2018, he was elected as the Lake County DSA Vice President.

Richard Kreutzer

Treasurer
Richard has served the community of Lake County since 2006. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree for Psychology from the California State University, Chico and serving the Sacramento Metropolitan Police Department as a Patrol Officer, Richard moved to Lake County and began a career with the Probation Department. While employed as a Correctional Officer for the Juvenile Detention Center, Richard promoted to Supervisor and maintained effective function of the detention center by authoring numerous policies in order to adhere and align with federal, state and local legislation. After transferring to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office in 2012, Richard promoted to Field Training Officer and Detective, and currently holds a position on the department’s Crisis Response Unit as a negotiator. Richard has studied and received certification in Electronic Surveillance and Wire Intercept Operations, Homicide Investigations, Hostage Negotiations, Officer Involved Incidents and Aquatic Death Investigations. Richard took a leadership position within the Lake County Deputy Sheriff’s Association as Secretary in 2015 and currently holds the position of Treasurer.

Jeffrey Mora

Secretary
Deputy Jeff Mora has served with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office since 2014. Deputy Mora is a Field Training Officer currently assigned to the patrol division. He has several collateral duties including Explorer Advisor, Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructor, and Crisis Negotiation team member. Deputy Mora has served on the DSA board of directors since 2018.
